2 SAT/ACT/GMAT/TOEFL REGISTRATION

The purpose of these exams is to test and measure a high school student's readiness for college, and provides colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.

  • SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

The SAT is a standardised test commonly used for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is scored out of a possible 1600, 800 each for English and Mathematics. The exam is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.

  • ACT (American College Test)

An ACT contains four multiple-choice tests - English, mathematics, reading, and science which is scored on a scale of 1-36. Each section is scored out of 36 points and your composite ACT score is an average of your 4 section scores.

  • GMAT (The Graduate Management Admission Test)

The GMAT is an important part of the business school application process. The GMAT is a multiple-choice, computer-based and computer-adaptive standardised exam that is often required for admission to graduate business programs (MBA) globally.

  • TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language)

TOEFL is a standardised test that measures your English skills, and how well you can use English in an academic setting. Therefore, TOEFL scores are often used in the university admission process. If you are from a country where English is not your first language you will be required to take the TOEFL.

3 PROFESSIONAL EDITING AND VIDEO PROFILE

College coaches require you to have footage in order for them to evaluate you in your sport.

4 PROMOTION AND PLACEMENT

This is all about exposure and brokering deals with coaches. This process is extremely challenging. ACA Scholarships are experts in securing you offers to American colleges. We will be working to find you the perfect institution that meets your academic, athletic, social and financial means. ACA Scholarships work with over 2,500 universities in the USA and have relationships with over 20,000 college coaches.

5 ELIGIBILITY CENTRE GUIDANCE

College sports in the USA is run by different governing bodies. Depending on which university you decide to commit to will determine which eligibility centre to go through. This process can be very daunting, however with the care of ACA Scholarships we will make sure that you will be eligible to compete.

6 SIGNING YOUR NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT (NLI)

Congratulations, you have now picked where you are going. Thanks to ACA Scholarships you have decided to commit to a specific university.

7 GUIDANCE WITH VISA PROCESS

Depending on what country you are situated in will determine which American embassy you will go to. In order to do this, you need to have all the correct documentation. An average cost for this process is around $500.

8 PRE-DEPARTURE AND ASSISTANCE

You are now on your way to become an American Collegiate Athlete.
