As a goalkeeper Leo actively tries to be as involved in the game as is possible, making himself available as an option to pass to when the team is playing facing towards him. Leo is a noticeably confident keeper when communicating with his defense, over the last 3 years he has become much more vocal with his organizing  and telling teammates what to do. This has been a driving factor in being seen by coaches of teams 2/3 years above his age at Farsley and Bradford respectively. His play style is most similar to that of Ederson – competent at shot stopping and is starting to stand out with his distribution, composure under pressure and ability to make passes to a high degree of accuracy to his wingers or full backs.

In moving to America for college Leo not only believes it will help to further develop his ability as a goalkeeper but also provide him with more options after college. Furthermore he believes that the American college system is the perfect learning environment for him to thrive in due to his willingness to meet new people and learn about the experiences of other people.
